Anything booked from this page has these taken off the invoice. Name the one that suits when we ring you back. They stand right across Eastwood and the suburbs beside it.
Online SpecialCome to us through this page and the attendance charge is simply not there. Nothing else attached.
New CustomersNever had us out? Knock $50 off the first job, no matter what it turns out to be.
ConcessionHold a seniors or pension card? That is 10% off, and it keeps applying long after the first visit.
Whether it is three in the morning in a downpour or a swap you booked a fortnight out, the crew is the same licensed one, the number is settled first, and the workmanship carries a lifetime warranty.
Burst pipes, failed flexi hoses and water coming up where it should not. We answer across Eastwood 24 hours and will talk you through isolating it before anybody sets off.
Emergency call-outsGas, electric, heat pump and solar, mended or swapped inside the day where we can. Sydney's water is soft, so what gives out is the anode or an element rather than a silted tank.
Hot water repairsCooktops, heaters and gas lines connected, pressure tested and certified before we leave, with the Certificate of Compliance handed over rather than promised.
Licensed gas fittingDripping taps, hidden leaks and burst pipes located with equipment instead of guesswork, then repaired properly rather than patched to last the season out.
Burst pipes & leak repairsToilets, vanities and tapware fitted in one visit, including in the postwar houses here where the original rough-in sits nowhere near where a modern fitting expects it.
Book a fit-offBlocked or slow? We film it, and where a property sits below the town centre we will tell you plainly whether the problem is your line or the ground it drains into. Start with our guide to what to try on a blocked toilet.
Drain clearingHardly a plumbing site anywhere will name a figure. These are 2026 Sydney entry numbers, published so that every quote you collect has a yardstick beside it, this one included. So that covers a van at your door and the trade's hourly figure. Anything priced job by job is set out on the service page it belongs to.
Zero when the job comes through this site. Find us any other way and the standard Sydney attendance fee applies, usually toward the upper end of that spread.
What the market charges between nine and five, and the number most quotes are quietly built from. We do not work that way, and the reason is set out just beneath these cards.
The premium the trade puts on nights, weekends and public holidays. Ours is none, since the job figure is locked before anybody leaves.
A single settled number to make a burst safe, clear a line or shut down a gas fault, instead of a clock that starts the second a van finds a kerb.
Set down in writing before a tool is lifted. Where what we uncover alters the job, nothing continues until you have approved the revised number.
Cards two and three are what the market asks rather than what we ask, and they are there purely for the contrast. Charging by the hour sells you an afternoon instead of an answer, and where the real question is what happens downstream, that afternoon can prove nothing. We price the work rather than the hours, so the number you approve is the number you settle. Here that also means the time spent establishing whether you have a fault at all is ours to carry rather than yours to fund. Where you already know what you need, the real figures live on the blocked drains, pipe relining, burst pipes and leaks, hot water and gas fitting pages.
Anyone can call themselves a plumber. A licensed one carries a NSW licence number, real insurance, and the legal accountability that comes with both, so when a gas job is certified or a repair signed off, it actually means something.
Licensed in NSW, fully insured, and on these streets week in and week out. Work done to the Australian Standards with a lifetime workmanship warranty you get in writing.

Water only ever arrives in the heaviest storms and then goes? That pattern is worth describing to us before anybody quotes you to fix a fault you may not have. Meet the crew behind every Eastwood callout.

Eastwood's town centre straddles the Main Northern Railway Line, and the western part of it sits in the depression that forms the Terrys Creek floodplain. Council's own modelling confirms substantial flood problems there, and the measures it has looked at are all about getting water through and under the built form: extra inlet pits in Brabyn Street, work on the culvert in Jim Walsh Park, a detention basin. A rail embankment is a dam with holes in it, and the holes are the system. Across the inner north west, a licensed local plumber is only minutes away, same-day and 24/7 for genuine emergencies.

Sewage rising through a floor waste is not going to wait for the rain to ease. We can have a licensed plumber moving your way straight away.

Still have a question?
The trade sits around $100 to $150 an hour in Sydney, and knowing that tells you very little about your own job. We settle one figure for the entire piece of work first, so a straightforward morning and a difficult one both come to the number you agreed.
On anything genuinely urgent we aim to be at the door inside the hour, anywhere across Eastwood and the inner north west, whatever the day or the time.
Any attendance or after-hours figure is said on the phone before a van moves, so nothing unfamiliar reaches the invoice. Booked through this site, there is none.
It is NSW Licence 368473C, and the Fair Trading register will confirm that in about a minute. Working without a licence is illegal in this state and it sinks a home insurance claim, so make anyone show you a number before they begin. Ours prints on every quote.
It comes down to soft water. Limescale is what finishes tanks where the supply is hard, and Sydney's is not. What happens here instead is that the sacrificial anode is consumed shielding the steel, after which the tank itself begins to go, or an element simply burns out. Neither is automatically the end of the unit.
Because a rail embankment is effectively a wall, and water crossing the suburb has to pass it at a small number of points rather than on a broad front. Council's flood work here is largely about those points: additional inlet pits in Brabyn Street, improvements to the culvert in Jim Walsh Park, a possible detention basin. Where a property sits relative to that constriction shapes how it behaves in a downpour more than its distance from a creek does, and it is the first thing worth establishing.
The western part of the town centre lies in the depression that forms the Terrys Creek floodplain, and Council's modelling confirms substantial flood problems there. More than a dozen shops were flooded in one downpour in April 2012. That is a documented planning matter rather than local rumour, and Ryde City Council is the authority on it. What it means practically is that low ground here fills quickly and drains once the system catches up.
Yes, and it is worth separating from the part you cannot influence. Nothing about the rail corridor or the public drainage is yours. Everything inside your boundary is: whether the pits are clear, where each downpipe truly discharges, whether paving has raised the ground against the house over the years, and whether the line leaving the property is sound. Those are the things that decide whether an ordinary storm is uneventful.
The whole Eastwood LGA and every suburb around it: Denistone West, Ermington, Marsfield, Melrose Park, West Ryde, Denistone West, Ermington, Ermington and more.
More of our callouts here are hot water than anything else, and this is the equipment behind them. A lot of electric storage in the postwar stock, gas on the streets that were plumbed for it, and continuous flow wherever a cylinder had to leave the floor for a wall. Repairing and replacing hot water systems is most of what we do here, and we are straight about what each job costs and the age at which a unit stops being worth fixing.

We service and replace these systems as an independent licensed plumber. We are not an agent for, or endorsed by, any of these manufacturers.
Give us your details and we will call you back, usually inside a few minutes if it is business hours.
